Thanks and Gouda bye 😢 (for now... 😉)
2016 was a rollercoaster of emotions; Donald Trump made his presidential debut, the ABS somehow thought they could internet (#censusfail) and while we mourned the loss of power couple Brangelina, we welcomed the birth of TOASTA & Co. A West Melbourne haven where adulting is left at the door, TOASTA & Co quickly became a community hub bound by a love for cheese, coffee and delicious memories.
In 2020, times are disparate. As we navigate through the testing landscape of COVID-19 (or as we like to call - schmozzle) we have taken a step back to work out what is most important. In a heartbeat, it is the future of our customers, our staff and our community. And the single most important thing we can do to protect our community (as heartbreaking as it is), is to take a socially distanced break from it.
It may seem inconvenient or boring, but keeping to ourselves and staying home is the best thing everyone can and should be doing right now. This pandemic may be the biggest event in most of our lives; personally and globally. We need to all work together to overcome this thing, and our behaviour today will influence our future tomorrow.
We have big plans for TOASTA in the future, so we have decided to take this tumultuous time as an opportunity to smell the roses (and the cheeses), create something truly amazing and work on being the best we can be.
We want to thank every single one of you for the love and support over the years. As we close one door, we invite you to stay connected as we prepare to open another. We’ve already got a few things in the pipeline, so subscribe to TOASTA Instagram, Facebook and emails for the latest updates.
Until then, see you on the other side!
Love always the TOASTA fam xx
